Medicine

Ray looks after you and your family’s health and considers that the one health problem you are aware of may often result of a number of intertwining causes.

Your first consultation is 60 minutes. This allows time to review your health information, get to know you, conduct a physical and lifestyle examination, investigate medical diagnosis and development of a treatment plan.   It’s also a good opportunity for you to ask questions that allow you to become more involved in your health care.

He may recommend investigations, not rebatable by Medicare, that provide a profile of your gut health and/or hormone status. Your treatment may then involve a careful monitoring and adjustments to specific combinations of nutritional supplementation, bio-identical hormone replacement, and your attention and readiness for lifestyle changes that can restore your body’s capacity to heal itself.

He encourages you to proactively book consultations in advance and to use other healthcare providers for concurrent medical and lifestyle care. If you are healthy and you not on medication he encourages you to book annually for a health review.  He uses this time to get to know you in good health, to look proactively at your lifestyle, environmental and emotional factors and arrange age specific preventative screening.

“Yoga therapy is a self-empowering process, where the care-seeker, with the help of the Yoga Therapist, implements a personalised and evolving Yoga practice, that not only addresses the illness in a multi-dimensional manner, but also aims to alleviate his/her suffering in a progressive, non-invasive and complementary manner. Depending upon the nature of the illness, Yoga Therapy can not only be preventative or curative, but also serve a means to manage the illness, or facilitate healing in the person at all levels.”
