Ray is a general and integrative medical practitioner.
He has practiced general practice medicine since 1980’s both in Western Australia and North Queensland, and integrative medicine since the early 2000’s.
He enjoys working with patients and families who want timely interventions and to understand more about their health and use this knowledge to create a satisfying, healthy and sustainable lifestyle. He works with best available medical evidence as a GP and uses complementary approaches such as nutrition, supplementation, movement therapy and lifestyle interventions.
Ray completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia. He has post graduate qualifications in Integrative Medicine , Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Voice Dialogue, Yoga and Lifestyle Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a member of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).
Integrative approaches are particularly useful in dealing with fatigue and exhaustion syndromes, hormone imbalances, auto-immune diseases, post viral infection syndromes, long covid, irritable bowel syndrome, food sensitivities, allergies and fibromyalgia. These approaches can also provide supportive and adjunctive care in recovery from major illness and cancers.
Ray considers the impact of environmental and emotional stress on your body, mind, sense of well-being, it’s impact on aging and believes in the positive health benefits of joy and connection as part of your recovery. Your readiness to change is discussed, small steps are taken and you are welcome to bring questions.
